ReNALNE Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as this "Policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information in the services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
Article 1 (Personal Information)
"Personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. It means information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in such information, as well as data relating to appearance, fingerprints, or voiceprints, and information that can identify a specific individual from the information alone, such as the insurer number on a health insurance card (personal identification information).
Article 2 (Method of Collecting Personal Information)
The Company may ask for personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when a user registers to use the Service. In addition, the Company may collect transaction records and information related to payments, including users' personal information, that have been made between users and the Company's business partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad distribution destinations; hereinafter referred to as "Partners") from such Partners.
Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)

  • When the purpose of use has been changed, the Company shall notify users of the changed purpose by the method prescribed by the Company, or announce it on this website.
Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
  • Except in the following cases, the Company will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the user. However, this excludes cases permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations.
    • When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
    • When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
    • When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, a local government, or a party commissioned by either of them in executing affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the consent of the person is likely to impede the execution of such affairs
    • When the following matters have been announced or made public in advance, and the Company has notified the Personal Information Protection Commission

  • Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in the following cases, the party to which the information is provided shall not be deemed a third party.
    • When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
    • When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of a business due to a merger or other reasons
    • When personal information is jointly used with a specific party, and the person has been notified in advance, or the person is in a state where they can easily know, of that fact, the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of the parties who will jointly use it, the purpose of use by the users, and the name or title of the party responsible for the management of the personal information
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
  • When the Company is requested by a person to disclose their personal information, the Company will disclose it to the person without delay. However, if disclosure falls under any of the following, the Company may not disclose all or part of it, and if it decides not to disclose, it will notify the person to that effect without delay. Please note that a fee of 10,000 yen per case will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.
    • When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the person or a third party
    • When there is a risk of significantly impeding the proper execution of the Company's business
    • When it would otherwise violate laws and regulations
  • Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as historical information and characteristic information, will not, in principle, be disclosed.
Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
  • If the personal information held by the Company is incorrect, users may request the Company to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") the personal information in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company.
  • If the Company receives a request from a user as described in the preceding paragraph and determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Company will make a correction, etc. of the personal information without delay.
  • When the Company has made a correction, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or has decided not to make a correction, etc., it will notify the user without delay.
Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)
  • If the Company is requested by a person to suspend or erase (hereinafter referred to as "suspension of use, etc.") their personal information on the grounds that the personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use, or that it was obtained by fraudulent means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
  • If, based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Company will suspend the use, etc. of the personal information without delay.
  • When the Company has suspended use, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or has decided not to suspend use, etc., it will notify the user without delay.
  • Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, in cases where suspension of use, etc. requires a large expense or is otherwise difficult to carry out, and alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user can be taken, the Company will take such alternative measures.
Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
  • The content of this Policy may be changed without notifying users, except for matters otherwise specified by laws and regulations or in this Policy.
  • Except as otherwise specified by the Company, the changed Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
