Privacy Policy

ReNALNE, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the voice recording, transcription, and AI summarization application "Muon" (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.

The original version of this Privacy Policy is in Japanese. In case of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and this English translation, the Japanese version shall prevail.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects the following information:

Device identifier: an anonymous ID used to identify the device on which the App is installed.
Authentication token: a token used to manage usage limits and subscription status.
Voice recordings: audio data you record using the App. This data is transmitted externally only during transcription processing (see Section 4).
Transcription text: text generated from your recordings.
Summary text: summaries generated from transcription text.
Usage information: monthly recording duration and general App usage patterns.

We do not collect personally identifying information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

provide the core features of the App (recording, transcription, summarization);
manage subscription status and the free trial period;
enforce the monthly usage limit (30 hours);
improve the quality of the App;
comply with applicable law.

3. Where Data Is Stored

Voice recordings, transcription text, and summary text are stored locally on your device (SwiftData). They are not stored on our servers.
Usage information and authentication tokens are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, provided by Cloudflare, Inc.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Cloudflare Workers AI (Transcription)

Voice recordings are temporarily transmitted to Cloudflare Workers AI, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., for transcription processing. Per Cloudflare's data handling policies, transmitted audio is not retained after processing and is not used for model training.

Retention: until processing completes (deleted thereafter)

4.2 Google Gemini API (Summarization)

Transcription text is transmitted to the Google Gemini API (Gemini 2.5 Flash), provided by Google LLC, for summary generation. Handling of transmitted text is governed by the Google Gemini API Terms and Privacy Policy.

Purpose: summarization
Retention: per Google's terms

4.3 Apple StoreKit

Subscription payments are processed through Apple Inc.'s StoreKit. Payment information (such as credit card numbers) is handled entirely by Apple and is never transmitted to our servers.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not disclose your information to third parties, except as required by law.

6. Cookies and Analytics

The App does not use cookies. We do not currently use third-party analytics tools. If we adopt error monitoring tools (such as Sentry) in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

request disclosure of the information we hold about you;
request correction, restriction of use, or deletion of such information.

To make such a request, please contact us using the form below. Data stored on your device (recordings, transcriptions, summaries) may also be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App or by using the in-App delete function.

8. Children's Use

The App is not intended for users under the age of 13. Users under 13 may use the App only with parental consent.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal changes or updates to the App. Material changes will be communicated via the App or our website.
